he area surrounding Domaso offers many opportunities for individual and amateur sports, such as windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing, water-skiing, motor boating, canoeing, canyoning, rafting, fishing, trekking, mountain bike riding, horse-riding, go-karting, and bowls.
The long bike bath starts from the campsite beach and allows you to reach various locations in the Alto Lago area.
Domaso is the ideal destination for all sailing enthusiasts, who can enjoy themselves to their heart’s content by taking advantage of the typical Lake Como wind "La Breva". This thermal wind blows steadily from the south from March to October, and is a certainty for 6 days a week. Its speed varies between 7 and 18 knots. Windsurfing has made Lake Como famous throughout Europe. In Domaso there are schools with excellent instructors for all levels. Kitesurfing is a young, dynamic, fun and more extreme sport. There is also something for more traditional sailing enthusiasts who can set out to discover enchanting and hidden places visible only from the lake
From Domaso you can set out to discover truly unique places. The numerous paths are all well-marked with signs and will allow you to reach places with breath-taking views!
From the Natural Oasis of "Pian di Spagna" to the trails in the surrounding mountains, there are numerous tracks to suit all levels of fitness and ability. You can choose to follow the shore of Lake Como on the beautiful walking track that winds its way from Sorico to Menaggio along the western shore, or climb the most beautiful slopes to reach the mountain pastures and refuges.
