28-03-2022Spring and temperatures on Lake Como.
On Lake Como, spring is an incredible season: it is precisely in the months of March, April and May that nature awakens in all its splendor. The camellias in bloom, the endless meadows dyed bright green, the sparkle of the sun on the crystal clear waters of the lake that rested during the long season… in short, a feast for the eyes and the heart.
But not only! March, on average, reaches a minimum night temperature of 6°, a maximum daytime temperature of 14° and the rains are practically absent. It is the month of long-sleeved cotton shirts, sweatshirts unfastened and rolled up on the sleeves, sunglasses and jackets abandoned on the benches. The hours of light are about 12 and in the evening, however, you go out with a padded jacket and sleep with a warm blanket.
April, on the other hand, is something else entirely: the minimum temperature is around 9° and the maximum around 17°. In this period the first sails take off and during peak hours the first short-sleeved shirts are shown off. The rains are still scarce and the hours of light increase to more than 13, giving time to the first evening walks, after a day of cultural and sporting discoveries.
May is the rainy month… but that's not necessarily the case! It might surprise us with unforgettable days and sunny weeks. Summer knocks heavily with a minimum temperature of 13° and a maximum of 21° and the hours of light increase to 15 they meet on weekends.
The temperatures in spring on Lake Como are the right middle ground for a wonderful holiday at Piccolo Camping.
